Although she died when I was very young, I was able to get this recipe that was my grandmother, Anne SCHILCHER IRELAND’s, from my Aunt Frances. This recipe makes 4 servings and will go fast!
1 lb Italian sausage, chunks or ground
1 lb stew beef chunks
2 green peppers, cut into small chunks
4 medium potatoes, cut into small chunks
2 cans red kidney beans
2 cans white kidney beans
Basil to taste
Salt and Pepper to taste
2 beef bouillon cubes
1 cup water
Brown beef and sausage. Add remaining ingredients.
Bake at 350 for 1 1/2 hours.
